The House
The house of Lazaire
Lazaire began with a single refusal: that scent should ever be rushed. We compose extrait de parfum in small batches, from rare materials, for those who wear fragrance like a signature.
Our belief
Built on patience
Most fragrance is built for speed — bright, loud, and gone by noon. We wanted the opposite: compositions that open quietly, settle into the skin, and stay. That meant choosing extrait de parfum — the highest concentration — and giving every blend the weeks it needs to mature.
We work in the French tradition — rare absolutes, aged oud, and materials chosen for character rather than cost — and we make it all in India, by hand, in batches small enough to hold to our standard.
The craft
From rare things, made slowly
Every Lazaire fragrance begins with materials chosen for what they do to a composition — not what they cost. Then it waits.
- Sourced for character. Absolutes, resins and aged oud, chosen by nose, one material at a time.
- Matured for weeks. Each composition rests until its notes settle into one another.
- Concentrated. Extrait de parfum — richer and longer-lasting than eau de parfum.
- Sealed by hand. Bottled in small batches, finished and checked one at a time.
A scent should arrive a moment after you do — and stay a moment after you leave.
That is the only brief we keep.
